Review Cách Chơi Diablo 2 Qua Hamachi For Diablo 2 Tcp/Ip Game, How To Play A Diablo 2 Game Through Hamachi

Hey, au3d.vn. I’m at the end of my bank of knowledge on this sort of thing, and I’m at the point where I’m getting pissed off. My friend and I want to play Diablo 2 over Hamachi, but there seems to be something wrong. What I’ve noticed is, when I press TCP/IP, the IP address it shows is my IPv4 and not Hamachi’s IP, so I don’t know if that’s the issue.

Things we’ve tried:

-Doing nothing, and when trying to join putting in the host’s house IP, IPv4, Default Gateway, Hamachi IPv4

-Looking up tutorials and going into user settings and being a joiner, changing the host’s VPN Alias to have matching subnets

-Shutting down firewall, and trying everything named above

-Obviously trying to have each of us host, neither of us can successfully do so.

I used to play a lot of diablo 2 over TCP/IP, without any need for Hamachi. It was actually pretty simple :

The host must login to his router’s configuration interface (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) and forward TCP port 4000 to his internal ip. (he can find his internal ip by using the command “ipconfig” on his computer).

The other player(s) simply enter the host’s external ip in the game’s interface (the host can find out his external ip by going to whatsmyip.org (or moanmyip.org, if you feel so inclined)).

Sorry if this isn’t very detailed, I’m quite busy at the moment, but I’ll try to explain a bit more if you need it.

best guess is eigher over battlenet, or if you really only want to do it over hamachi, go check out youtube videos, they are seriously helpfull.

Shouldn’t need hamachi, if anything it’s unnecessary extra effort. The hosts external ip should work but will require making sure port is open.

To check ports

I believe ports 6112 and 4000 are used by D2 . If those aren’t open you will have to open them on your router

Edit (an after thought) This is more or less same as the other comment here, oops

You’ve probably already tried this but make sure you both are running the same version of Hamachi and the game.

You could always try setting your PC as a DMZ host in your router settings.
